EVERYONE IS GIVEN A WORD, EXCEPT THE SPIES

When the game starts, and the first round begins, everyone is shown a card containing a word. The word is same for everyone and is known by everyone. Except for the few amongst you, who are only told that they are spies, and do not know the word.

ASK EACH OTHER QUESTIONS

A host is alloted by the system, or you can allot one amongst yourself. They ask a Yes/No question to someone, who has to answer it. Then that person is supposed to ask someone another Yes/No question. And the cycle continues.

GUESS WHO IS THE SPY

The cycle of questions go on as suspicions amongst the group rise. At any point someone can ask to vote out a suspect and if majority of the group agrees, that person is voted out of the round. The group wins if the person was, in fact, a spy. Spies win if the suspect wasn't a spy.

NIGHT FALLS, PLOT THICKENS

The narrator, or as the villagers call him - "The God", tells everyone to close their eyes as night falls. The Mafia then open their eyes and tell the God who they plan to kill. They then close their eyes. The doctor then opens his eyes and tries to save someone, but he can only guess who was attacked. The Oracle tries to use his inner connection to God and guess who the mafia are.

A NEW DAY

The God asks everyone to open their eyes and tells them what transpired at night. He tells them that Mafia killed someone and that the doctor managed to save them or failed to save them. And that the oracle's predictions are true or not.

GUESS WHO THE MAFIA IS

The group then discusses amonst themselves about the happenings of previous night and conduct a vote to expel out someone. The goal for the group is to expel out the Mafia and the goal for Mafia is to kill all the villagers.

A RANDOM PERSON SEES THE TIMER

Once all of the players join the room and the game starts, one of you will see the timer running down. Just put the phone on your head in landscape orientation.

ABOVE THE HEAD CHARADES

The other players do charades or use some words to make you guess the word. You have 30 seconds to guess before the round ends and another person sees the timer. Please Note: It might be you again who sees the timer as it is entirely random.
